ABOUT ME

Karly Leipsic is a Vancouver based painter and mixed media artist. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba and furthered her education in graphic design at Red River College. While living in Winnipeg Karly began showing and selling her work through the Art Rentals & Sales Program at the Winnipeg Art Gallery and having private art shows. Karly took many years off to raise her children. She recently went back to art classes and was re-invigorated using new mediums she had never used before; India ink, acrylic inks and collage. Now she uses these mediums in almost every piece she creates. Karly’s passion has always been in painting. She loves to use bright colours to bring life and love to her art.
